Off to Alice Springs...

Thursday (2008-09-11)

Well, I thought today would the day that I was putting my Shake Awake alarm clock to the test (never had a need to use it on the flight over)...however, as it turned out I was up quite a bit before the alarm was scheduled to go off.

Got off to the airport and on to my Qantas flight without any hitches...and in to Alice Springs shortly after noon.

In Alice Springs I had stayed at another Hostel called Annie's. They offer free pick up from the airport (bonus). Ended up meeting another traveller on the same tour as me, Paul, and another dude from France, Fro (can't recall what this was short for).

After booking into Annie's, the three of us, plus another, Mattias (from Germany) went into "town" for a quick tour, some money, and supper.

Given our tour started early the next morning, I hit the sack around 9pm and promptly passed out.
