The Writeup:

Now, the brochure is written as if traveling from Sydney, AU to Alice Springs, AU...so, read through it and then flip it around to figure out what I'll be up to.

We travel the coast road north for a stop at a koala breeding park before a night stop on the beach. On to Fraser Island for a two day 4WD adventure on the world’s largest sand island. Take a swim in crystal clear waters or explore the unusual rock formations and a local shipwreck.

Onto the gateway of the Whitsunday Islands, Airlie Beach where you’ll have a free day to go sailing on a racing yacht, take a cruise to a millionaire's resort or just swim in the warm tropical waters. For adrenaline junkies, there’s bungee jumping, sky-diving and loads of watersports to get your heart racing.

Whitewater raft or sea kayak on Mission Beach before our next stop in Cairns. Join a sailing boat to explore the Great Barrier Reef with its incredible diversity of marine life. Hand feed the fish, snorkel among the coral in the clear waters or try scuba diving (no experience needed). This is a day you will remember for the rest of your life.

West over the Great Dividing Range and maybe stop at a tea plantation or take time out for a soak in the hot springs before arriving at our bush camp, complete with hot showers, a fire and great views of the Australian outback.

Entering the Northern Territory, we camp among the wildlife at Katherine Gorge. Cruise up two of the spectacular gorge systems before heading further north to visit the famous Magnetic termite mounds. Enjoy a free day to take in the sights of Darwin before we depart to the "World Heritage Listed" Kakadu National Park. Visit Nourlangie Rock to see Aboriginal rock art thousands of years old. Search for crocodiles, birds, snakes, dingos and much more on our Yellow Water Billabong Cruise.

Camp at an Aboriginal buffalo station and learn how the aboriginals existed for thousands of years in harmony with their surroundings. Hike the eerie Devils Marbles with plenty of opportunities for some stunning photographs on the boulders. We arrive at Alice Springs mid-afternoon and head out on the town for a meal and some nightlife.

The next morning, experience a breathtaking champagne hot-air balloon flight or do an optional day tour through the Western MacDonnell ranges. Take a morning camel ride over stunning sand hills before we marvel at the sheer cliffs of Kings Canyon.

Next, one of the worlds' largest monoliths, Uluru (Ayers Rock). Discover some Aboriginal legends that abound in this World Heritage Area. Later this afternoon you can explore the Olgas before viewing the fiery sunset. Wake up early the next morning for a stunning sunrise over Uluru. We will have one last chance to visit the magical site before heading back to the desert oasis of Alice Springs and a last night on the town to put the final touch on this amazing adventure.
